About Us

MESSAGE

The reason global warming accelerates year after year is to be found in the increased concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in which we live. Therefore, stopping such an increase in carbon dioxide concentration is the only way to prevent global warming. While efforts towards decarbonization have become essential, both at a corporate and at an individual level, the use of the term “de-carbonization” erroneously suggests that carbon is the bad guy in the story.

In fact, carbon is an important resource that has enriched our lives since ancient times. Our goal is to create a world where people can make good use of carbon resources while contributing to the environment. Plants extract only the precise amount of carbon dioxide in the air required at any given time to create their own nutritional sources and to grow. If we could also manage to use the carbon dioxide present in the air as a resource, we could create a resource-circulating society that is closer to nature.

Membrane DAC technology is a new technology that has the potential to enable airborne carbon dioxide to be extracted by anyone, anytime, anywhere.

The timely commercialization of this new technology and the marketing of new solutions have become our mission. If everyone were able to extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, we would live in harmony with nature and become a society where everyone can contribute to the environment. In order to bring about such a society, we are proceeding along the following three directions:

  1. Creating a new market for membrane DAC technology (creating a demand that can be satisfied by small, distributed DACs)
  2. Building membrane DAC devices (manufacturing new DAC devices using unique technology)
  3. Creating an ecosystem with other companies (promoting the development, manufacturing, and exploration of new uses on a wide scale)

As a newly established company, it is impossible for us to succeed alone in these three endeavors. We appreciate the help of anyone who feels the way we do about the future of society and ask that they get in touch with us.

OUR VISION

A world where CO2, a resource commonly found all around us, can be used for common activities.

We want to bring about a world where carbon dioxide (CO₂), which is commonly found in the atmosphere, can be turned into a valuable resource and used by anyone, anywhere, anytime by companies and individuals alike.

OUR MISSION

Designing a world in which CO2 with new value is an integral part of our daily lives

Design a societal system in which not just companies but also individuals can help reduce CO₂ with a system of compact, distributed m-DAC units.
In contrast to current large-scale DAC systems installed in suburban areas, the DAC system developed by Carbon Xtract consists of compact, distributed units, which makes it the most accessible DAC system on the market in the sense that it can be operated as an integral part of our daily lives.
