Our Technology

OVERVIEW

Small modules outfitted with separation nanomembranes are used to carry out processes ranging from the capturing of CO2 to the production of carbon fuel in a continuous and integrated manner.

By using the innovative and proprietary separation nano-membrane technology (m-DACTM) with an overwhelmingly high CO₂ permeability, it is capable of capture CO₂ from the atmosphere through membrane separation, which was previously believed to be impossible. By connecting this membrane separation unit with an electrochemical / thermochemical CO₂ conversion unit, the entire process from atmospheric CO₂ recovery to carbon fuel production can be carried out continuously and consistently.

Compared to the industrial-size DAC facility that is currently the norm across the world, our m-DAC® devices are small enough to be used anywhere and do not require transportation by heavy vehicles, which makes them ideal for local production-for-local-consumption DAC.

  • 1.Can be installed anywhere

Direct air capture can now be achieved in areas that are a few tenths of the size required by conventional technologies and with reduced energy consumption, so that geographical constraints become less important, allowing for wide range of equipment and sizes to be installed in a variety of locations.

  • 2.Reduced need for system overhaul

The use of small modules makes it possible to tackle potential malfunctioning on a module-by-module basis, making large-scale overhaul almost unnecessary.

Compared to the industrial-size DAC facility that is currently the norm across the world, our m-DAC devices are small enough that they can be used anywhere and do not require transportation by heavy vehicles, which makes them ideal for local production-for-local-consumption DAC.

FUTURE

Going forward, we intend to develop a wide variety of markets and expand across different fields. Our ultimate goal is to create many new uses for our devices, thus spurring the emergence of many new businesses as part of a chain reaction.

Agriculture (Greenhouse cultivation)
CO₂ is captured from the atmosphere and used on the spot to promote the growth of vegetables and fruits

Agriculture (plant factories)
Improving production efficiency in indoor agriculture in an environmentally friendly way

Carbonated drinks
Capturing on the spot the precise amount of carbon dioxide (CO₂) required for making carbonated drinks

and more...
